Since our founding in Germany in 1981, BGS has been a pioneer in the use of accelerated electrons (beta rays) and gamma rays for sterilization applications. Over the past 40+ years, we have pioneered the development of systems for sterilizing medical products and more. For example, we have played a key role in shaping and developing groundbreaking processes that are now considered technological standards. Those advances have allowed us to establish a state-of-the-art US facility in Pittsburgh.
Our medium-sized company remains privately owned. This business structure gives us the flexibility and reliability we need to offer a full range of electron beam (E-Beam) radiation sterilization services and related capabilities.
Our expertise related to capacity utilization allows us to run highly automated processes that help to ensure the necessary speed to meet customers’ delivery schedules and adherence to the highest quality standards.
