RADIATION TECHNOLOGY
APPLICATION OF BETA RAYS
At BGS, our radiation sterilization process uses electron beams. This method is also known as E-Beam (electron beam) or beta irradiation. E-Beam sterilization is a highly efficient method and the best choice for time-sensitive supply chains. For our customers and for us, it is often the preferred radiation sterilization process, so we are offering this technology from our US facility in Pittsburgh.
Due to physical circumstances, the radiation used in our processes does not generate any radioactivity! The treated products are free of any radioactive residue and ready for immediate use.
